Oh, baby: Kyle Larson becomes a dad just in time for Christmas
Welcome, baby Larson -- and just in time for Christmas, no less.
Chip Ganassi Racing driver and 2014 Sprint Cup Series Rookie of the Year Kyle Larson became a father for the first time late Monday night when girlfriend Katelyn Sweet gave birth to an almost eight-pound baby boy -- Owen Miyata Larson.

Now, Kyle and Katelyn won't be alone in their sprawling new abode that Kyle purchased in June but that underwent some rather extensive remodeling before the couple actually moved in.
Interestingly, in the days leading up to his son's birth, it seems that Kyle made a fascinating discovery about his own childhood.

The entire team at NASCAR on FOX congratulates Kyle and Katelyn on their new addition.
I went to my first race on August 28th and @1sam91 won. My mom recorded every day of my life in a calendar. pic.twitter.com/KQrBBFrUt6
