ROCHESTER (AP) -- Reggie Hamilton scored 30 points and came up with a key block in the final seconds as Oakland, Mich., held off IPFW 86-78 Saturday.

Keith Benson added 18 points, 12 rebounds and six blocks for the Golden Grizzlies (18-9, 13-1 Summit), who have won eight straight against the Mastodons.

Frank Gaines scored 27 point to lead IPFW (16-9, 9-5), which had a chance to win it after trailing by 12 with 1:27 to play.

After Ben Botts hit back-to-back 3-pointers to make it 80-78, Hamilton missed two free throws with 9 seconds left. Botts grabbed the rebound, raced down court and attempted another 3, but it was blocked by Hamilton.

Hamilton was fouled hard by Jason Smeathers with 0.8 seconds to play, and emotions flared, resulting in four technical fouls, two on Mastodons coach Dane Fife.

Oakland then made all six free throws to seal the win.
