The New York police and fire departments may be on the same side of the law, but in their annual charity hockey game, all bets are off.

With the score tied at 3-3, the NYPD and FDNY cleared the benches in the middle of Sunday's game in a pretty brutal brawl.

The annual event has been dominated by the FDNY, who came in to the event with a five-game win streak and a record of 23-15-2 against the NYPD. But the battle royale on the ice didn't keep the NYPD down this time. They broke the streak and won 8-5.
