NY Daily News: Romo got no help in loss
Football is a team game, but after losing to the New York Giants Sunday night, one Cowboys player received a pass from the New York Daily News.
Usually when the Cowboys lose, much of the blame is directed at quarterback Tony Romo. But Hank Gola says the 31-14 season-ending defeat isn't on Romo, it's on just about everyone else.
Gola wrote: "No one could pin this loss on Romo (29-for-37, 289 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT). He was under siege from the Giants pass rush early and led a couple of second-half TD drives that got the Cowboys within seven."
Gola then followed by pointing out many of the mistakes made by a handful of individual Cowboys defensive backs, including Alan Ball , Terence Newman, Abe Elam ... There's no reason to go on, you watched the game.
