Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been playing at an elite level for so long that when the reigning NFL MVP began this season with three straight games in which his quarterback rating was below 95 – something that happened only once all last season – some of the more demanding of his team's fans were wondering if he'd lost his mojo.
Never mind that Rodgers' receivers – the ones who weren't injured -- were dropping passes at an alarming rate and his offensive line was caving in around him repeatedly. Fans wanted to know what was wrong.
Turns out, not much.
It took Rodgers a little while to ramp up to last year's ridiculous pace, but he's there now, with 22 touchdown passes and three interceptions in the Packers' last six games – five of which have been wins heading into the bye week. He's done all this without No. 1 receiver Greg Jennings and without No. 2 target Jordy Nelson more recently. Oh, and No. 1 running back Cedric Benson, too. In that regard, Rodgers' 2012 numbers may be even more impressive than last season's.
