No decision made on Feldman's spot
The Texas Rangers haven't decided whether or not right-hander Scott Feldman will make his next start, which would come when the Rangers are in Seattle.
Feldman (6-11) allowed six runs in 2 2/3 in Saturday's loss to the Mariners.
"We haven't made any decision on that," Rangers manager Ron Washington said. "I haven't talked to anybody yet. My feeling is I'm going to wait until I get with everyone else and see if they can convince me to put my feelings in one direction or another."
Washington said that decision could come as early as today. One option the Rangers have is skipping the spot. The off day Monday could allow the Rangers to come back with Sunday starter Matt Harrison on regular rest for FRiday's game against the Mariners.
The Rangers could also use lefty Martin Perez in Feldman's spot. He didn't allow a run in 4 1/3 innings of relief of Feldman Saturday.
