Halli Amaro and Madi Kingdon led Arizona with 10 kills apiece in a 3-0 loss at No. 2 Stanford on Wednesday night. Scores were 19-25, 18-25 and 20-25.
The Wildcats fell to 12-10 overall and 4-7 in the Pac-12, while Stanford improved to 19-2 and 11-0.
Freshman Inky Ajanaku had 11 kills, four blocks and just one error for Stanford to finishi with a .526 hitting percentage. Stanford finished with a .292 percentage, compared with .130 for Arizona.
Candace Nicholson led the Wildcats on defense with 14 digs. The Wildcats return to action on Friday at California.
