NFL GM on Marcus Mariota's draft profile: 'Not having any red flags was a red flag'

Apparently one NFL general manager and head coach felt that Marcus Mariota was/is too good to be true.
Wrap your head round this, from Mariota's head coach at the University of Oregon, Mark Helfrich:

So, did the unnamed GM-coach tandem determine that winner of the 2014 Heisman Trophy, Maxwell Award, Davey O'Brien National QB Award and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, was too much of a good guy? Or that he must be hiding something?
