Any hopes of booking rooms, purchasing plane tickets and picking out seats to see your favorite NFL team in action this year will be delayed. At least temporarily. Last week, Internet rumors swirled that the NFL planned on releasing the official schedule on Tuesday, but Monday the league said that wouldn’t be the case. “The schedule will be released as soon as we have one,” NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said in a Vine video on Monday. “We don’t have one yet. We’re working on it. It should be soon. Stay tuned.” The league usually announces the schedule the week before the NFL Draft, and it’s unclear exactly when the release date is planned. The one thing we do know: The Baltimore Ravens will open the season on the road in the annual kickoff game.
