LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- Ian Baker scored 7 of his 10 points in overtime as New Mexico State defeated Robert Morris 81-71 to weather a challenge in the Air Force Classic on Tuesday night.

Pascal Siakam scored a career-best 35 points for the Aggies (4-1). The 6-foot-9 sophomore from Cameroon has scored 30 points or better twice this season.

Baker had a chance to win it in regulation, but his jump shot at the buzzer was blocked by Elijah Minnie.

The Colonials (0-5) had battled New Mexico State evenly during the game until the Aggies used a late 6-0 run to lead 67-62 with 1:50 left in regulation. A Billy Giles layup and Isaiah Still 3-pointer knotted the score for Robert Morris.
