Neil Magny weighs in on whether or not the TUF 16 cast got a raw deal
The Ultimate Fighter 16 may not go down as one of the most monumental seasons of the show, but there were still some tough competitors that spent six weeks learning under coaches Roy Nelson and Shane Carwin.
Historically when The Ultimate Fighter comes to an end, the majority of the cast members are given at least one more chance to prove themselves on the finale for the show. The cast of TUF 16 was not afforded that chance, however, as the only people from the show to get a shot in the UFC were the two finalists (Colton Smith and Mike Ricci) and injured Neil Magny, who was unable to compete on the finale but did get another crack in the Octagon.
Why did this particular cast not get the extra chance?
Well, mostly due to the lackluster performances while competing in the house and it cost them when the show was over.
TUF 16 cast member Neil Magny, who fights this Saturday night in Cincinnati, gives his take on whether or not the cast of TUF 16 got a raw deal or who's to blame for more of those guys not competing in the UFC today.
