The NCAA has announced that they are publicly reprimanding Cincinnati head coach Mick Cronin for his post game comments following the Bearcats' loss to Ohio State in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
The committee said that Cronin used abusive and profane language following the Buckeyes' 81-66 win over UC.
“Unfortunately, Coach Cronin’s postgame actions were not consistent with the expectations that the committee has for participants in the championship,” said Jeff Hathaway, chair of the Division I Men’s Basketball Committee.
There has been no comment from UC or Cronin.
