NBA TV's 'The Association' features the New Orleans Pelicans
The national spotlight will zoom into the inner-working of the New Orleans Pelicans and the development of Anthony Davis later this month.
NBA TV's reality-themed show "The Association" has been shooting with the Pelicans for several weeks. The New Orleans feature premières Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 5 p.m. CT on NBA TV.
In the NBA's official release, producers said:
"In 2012, New Orleans drafted Anthony Davis first overall, hoping he'd start a basketball revival in the Big Easy. This season, those hopes are being realized, as Davis has been the breakout star in the NBA. In this next installment of "The Association", viewers will see how Davis has developed into a dominant force -- but in the ultra-competitive Western Conference, AD and this young team are still fighting inconsistency as they figure out how to win."
The behind-the-scenes footage also includes interviews with Davis and the coaching staff, including Head Coach Monty Williams, whom the show describes as a man "who combines a disciplined approach with a caring attitude to get the most out of his players."
