OGDEN, Utah -- NAU outhit Weber State .375 to .019 and totaled 11 blocks in a dominant 3-0 (25-18, 25-10, 25-12) sweep of the Wildcats on Saturday.

Senior Kelli Dallmann and freshman Janae Vander Ploeg each had double-digit kills and sophomore Sydney Kemper hit .667 with six kills and seven blocks as NAU improved to 9-2 overall and 1-1 in the Big Sky. Weber State dropped to 6-7 overall and 0-2 in conference.

NAU took an 8-3 lead in the second set and then went on an 8-0 run to take a commanding 16-3 advantage. The Lumberjacks outhit the Wildcats .435 to -.100 in the set, with Weber State committing nine attack errors to just six kills as NAU cruised to a 2-0 lead.

The third set started a bit closer, with NAU taking a 6-5 lead before eventually opening up a 17-9 cushion. Dallmann and Vander Ploeg each had four kills as NAU totaled 14 kills and just two errors in the set and cruised to a 25-12 match-clinching score.
