Nationwide Arena hosting OHSAA ice hockey state championships

COLUMBUS, OHIO -- The 38thAnnual Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) ice hockey statesemifinals and championship game are set to be played at Nationwide Arena onThursday, March 12 and Saturday, March 14, marking the 13thconsecutive year that the tournament will be held at the home of the ColumbusBlue Jackets.

The tournament, which began with 82 teams,is down to its final four teams with the winners of each district -- Toledo St.Francis de Sales from the Sylvania district, Hunting Valley University Schoolfrom the Kent district, Lakewood St. Edward from the Brooklyn district andDublin Jerome from the Columbus district - advancing to the semifinals. The complete schedule follows:

Thursday, March 12

1 p.m. -- Semifinal Game: Toledo St. Francisde Sales vs. Hunting Valley University School

3:30 p.m. -- Semifinal Game: Lakewood St.Edward vs. Dublin Jerome

Saturday, March 14

10 a.m. -- Senior All-Star Game

2 p.m. -- OHSAA Championship Game

Time Warner Cable SportsChannel willtelevise both semifinal games with Neil Sika and Luke Pavlas calling theaction. Tape-delayed broadcasts of both semifinal games will air startingat 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 12. Blue Jackets broadcasters BobMcElligott and Jody Shelley will handle the duties for the championship gamewhich will be televised on SportsTime Ohio (STO) with a tape-delayed broadcaston Saturday, March 14 at 11 p.m.
