You don't have to agree with our writers to be Comment of the Day (although bribing the site's bloggers helps). Today, "MSIX" goes large with his comment pushing Nerlins Noel as the player the Cavs should draft with the top pick.
To be a dynamic scorer as a guard you need to be able to create off the dribble. McLemore doesn't. He's also not a particularly good defender given his athleticism and he has trouble being assertive. There's no way he has more upside than Noel. Unless doctors conclude there are structural problems with Noels knees he is the clear #1. The fact that the Cavs desperately need elite defensive players, especially one who can protect the rim, is just gravy.
Oh, and the Cavs have Dion Waiters, who is a similar level prospect to McLemore.
