More Ohio flavor in next week's Senior Bowl

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Two linebackers with Ohio roots will play for Marvin Lewis and the Bengals' coaching staff next week at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala.

Ohio State captain Ross Homan and Cincinnati native Greg Jones of Michigan State have been named to the North team roster for the game, which will air on NFL Network on Jan. 29.

A graduate of Cincinnati Moeller High School, Jones was a two-time consensus first-team All-America selection and three-time first-team All-Big Ten pick. He led the Spartans with 106 tackles last fall and also had 10 tackles for loss, 2interceptions and a fumble recovery.

Homan was a three-year starter and a first team All-Big Ten selection as a senior at Ohio State. For his career, the Coldwater native racked up 287 total tackles, 17 tackles for loss and 7 interceptions.
