The bad news keeps coming for the Cavaliers as starting point guard Mo Williams will likely miss two weeks.

Williams received a cortisone injection to treat a hip pointer on Wednesday before the Cavaliers played the Suns. A team news release said there's "no firm timetable" for Williams' return.

Williams has battled hip and groin injuries throughout the season. He told reporters he only played last weekend in Utah and Denver because an already-depleted team needed him.

The Cavaliers are already without starting center Anderson Varejao (torn tendon in his foot), likely for the rest of the season. Guard Daniel Gibson, the team's top 3-point shooter, returned to action Wednesday night following a five-game absence due to an ankle injury.

With Anthony Parker (back), Leon Powe (knee), Christian Eyenga (ankle) and Joey Graham (quad) also out, the Cavaliers had just nine healthy players for Wednesday's game.

Ramon Sessions started at point guard in place of Williams.
