The Brewers started the season hot, and many questioned if they sould sustain the early success. So far, Milwaukee has held on in the NL Central despite Carlos Gomez and Aramis Ramirez missing time.

After a lights-out postseason run in 2013, Trevor Rosenthal was expected to carry the success into the following season; however, the closer has been less than stellar for the Cardinals, posting a 4.98 ERA and paltry 1.93 K/9 ratio.

Gio Gonzalez was placed on the DL after allowing 12 earned runs over just 7 1/3 innings in his last two starts, falling to a 3-4 overall after dropping three-straight starts.

Yasiel Puig continues to be the show-stealer in Los Angeles after adding three home runs and 10 RBI to his season totals while raising his batting average to .322 entering the week.
