Houndstooth and Alabama; they go hand-in-hand. So what better way for this year's Miss Alabama to represent the Yellow Hammer state at the Miss American pageant than that patern made famous by Bear Bryant?
Chandler Champion -- yes, the state that has claimed the last four BCS titles, including three by the Crimson Tide has a beauty queen named champion -- is going that route. She will wear a specially-designed houndstooth dress that says "ROLL TIDE" across the front with a houndstooth sash and on the back bears an Alabama logo and reads "2012 National Champions."
