Miller responds to Spartan's quarterbacking comment

Apparently Braxton Miller heard what Taiwan Jones had to say about his quarterback skills Tuesday.

Miller, Ohio State's two-time Big Ten MVP quarterback, and Jones, Michigan State's starting middle linebacker, were scheduled to face each other this weekend in what is widely expected to be the biggest game of the Big Ten regular season. However, Miller is sitting out the season after having shoulder surgery in August.

In his stead, redshirt freshman J.T. Barrett has started every game for the Buckeyes this season. While he's had his ups and downs, there have been more of the former than the latter. He leads the Big Ten in passer efficiency and his 23 touchdown passes are six more than anyone else in the league.

Jones has been impressed with what he has seen of the youngster on film, calling him "a way better quarterback than Braxton" while meeting with the media in East Lansing on Tuesday.

That apparently did not amuse Miller, who used Twitter to respond about a day later.
