Mike Tyson fights crime and solves mysteries in new cartoon series

Mike Tyson was once a championship boxer known for having the most vicious knockouts in the history of the sport. When his boxing career came to an end, he dabbled in acting, landing roles in films like the first two "Hangover" movies.
When he got tired of that, Tyson moved onto a one-man show called "Undisputed," in which he told many of the stories that decorated his career from the streets to the ring and back to the streets again.
Now the tough guy with a tattoo on his face is conquering another world. The cartoon world to be exact.
In a new animated series from Adult Swim on the Cartoon Network, the man once known as Iron Mike will be transformed into a crime-fighting, mystery-solving sleuth in the "Mike Tyson Mysteries."
The show airs this fall on Cartoon Network after initially debuting this summer at San Diego Comic-Con, where Tyson made an appearance (although he did not dress up as Evander Holyfield, much to the chagrin of those in attendance).
Here's the premise of the show direct from Adult Swim:
Mike Tyson is taking the fight from the boxing ring to the streets ... by solving mysteries! Aided by the Mike Tyson Mystery Team — the Ghost of the Marquess of Queensbury, Mike's adopted Korean daughter and a pigeon who was once a man. If you have a problem that needs solving, Iron Mike is in your corner
If it sounds familiar, the best way to describe Mike Tyson Mysteries is like Scooby-Doo, but instead of a hippie named Shaggy and a talking dog, you get one of the fiercest punchers of the past century teamed with a bird that used to be a man.
There's probably no easier way to help you understand it than to watch the show itself, thanks to Tyson, who released a clip via his Twitter this week.

The only thing that would make the show better is if Tyson ran into Don King, who said "I would have gotten away with it, too, if not for you meddling kids!" To which Tyson must then reply "Zoinks!"
"Mike Tyson Mysteries" will air on Cartoon Network on Monday nights at 10:30.
