Mike Trout is a million-dollar man, and on Friday, he sure played like it.

Fresh off signing a one-year, $1 million deal, Trout was in beast mode in the Angels' spring training opener against the Cubs, belting a grand slam and finishing 2-for-3 with five RBI in the Angels' 15-3 win on FOX Sports West.

If it's any indication of things to come, Trout could be making some big waves this year.

"It feels good," Trout said recently of his new contract. "[I'm just going to] go out there, have fun, play my game and go from there."

The Angels got home runs from Chris Iannetta (who also added a double) and Jett Bandy and a triple from J.B. Shuck in Friday's victory.

On the mound, Jered Weaver picked up the win after three innings of scoreless work.
