Free agency is less than 24 hours old, and the Milwaukee Bucks have already lost one of their free agents to a divisional foe. Mike Dunleavy Jr. has agreed to a two-year, $6 million contract with the Chicago Bulls, FOXSportsWisconsin.com has learned.
Dunleavy can officially sign his contract when free agency opens on July 10.
After spending the first nine years of his career with Golden State and Indiana, the son of former Bucks coach Mike Dunleavy Sr. signed a two-year, $7.5 million contract with Milwaukee following the 2011 lockout. The contract turned out to a bargain for the Bucks, as Dunleavy averaged 11.2 points per game while making 41.6 percent of his 3-pointers as Milwaukee's sixth man.
Dunleavy, 32, has averaged 11.9 points per game in his 11 seasons, shooting 37.2 percent on 3-pointers. Last season, Dunleavy averaged 10.5 points for the Bucks, shooting a career-best 44.2 percent from beyond the arc.
