Michigan routs Wisconsin hockey in series finale

Zach Hyman and Zach Werenski both tallied a pair of goals, leading No. 16 Michigan past host Wisconsin, 6-0, in Big Ten men's hockey action.
The Wolverines scored four goals in the first 20 minutes Saturday night, after finishing strong in a 7-4 win in Madison on Friday evening. Then, by the time Hyman lit the lamp at 1:16 of the second period, the night's damage had been done.
Werenski ended the night's scoring for Michigan (15-7-0 overall, 7-1-0-0 Big Ten) at 14:46 of the third period.

Wisconsin got 25 saves from netminder Joel Rumpel in its losing effort.
Wisconsin (2-15-3 overall, 0-5-1-1 Big Ten) returns to action next Friday at 8 p.m., against rival Minnesota in Madison.
