Last week, little Cooper Barton got in trouble for wearing a University of Michigan T-shirt to his kindergarten class in Oklahoma City.
District policy bans students from wearing shirts with logos from universities other than those in Oklahoma, and Barton had to turn his shirt inside out.
On Wednesday, Michigan athletic director Dave Brandon said he would invite Barton, 5, and his family to a Wolverines game this season and plans to send the kid a T-shirt that even when turned inside out sports the Michigan logo.
"To hell with those people," Brandon jokingly said as he held up the T-shirt during his opening remarks to the Detroit Economic Club.
