Michelle Margaux joins FOX Sports San Diego broadcast team
FOX Sports San Diego (FSSD) today welcomes Michelle Margaux to their distinguished team of broadcast talent as the new host of the network's weekly show, Padres POV. Additionally, she will serve as fill-in Sideline Reporter behind Julie Alexandria for FOX Sports San Diego's Padres telecasts.
Margaux, a California native and graduate of the University of San Diego, most recently worked as a Sports Anchor/Reporter at KRIS, an NBC affiliate in Corpus Christi Texas. During her time there, Margaux served as a Multimedia Journalist and co-host of the "Friday Night Fever" football show, as well as covered the Corpus Christi Hooks, the Houston Astros' Double-A affiliate. While in San Diego, Margaux worked as a field producer for the "Prep Pigskin Report" on KUSI and served as a reporter with her alma mater's Media Relations department. She studied Communications at the University of San Diego and worked as an intern at FOX Sports San Diego during the networks' inaugural season.
Margaux will be joining FOX Sports San Diego's veteran team of on-air talent, which includes Hall of Fame broadcaster and 2015 Ford C. Frick Award winner Dick Enberg, former Padres pitcher and current color analyst Mark Grant, former Red Sox play-by-play announcer and future Padres broadcaster Don Orsillo, Padres sideline reporter Julie Alexandria as well as Padres Live host, Mike Pomeranz and analyst Mark Sweeney.
Margaux is set to make her on-air debut as a sideline reporter for FOX Sports San Diego's college basketball telecast of USD vs. Pacific. Coverage begins at 7:00 PM PST on Thursday, Feb. 4th.
