PHOENIX -- The three-time WNBA Champion Phoenix Mercury are scheduled to make four picks in Thursday's WNBA Draft at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn at 4 p.m. The first round of the draft will air live on ESPN2, while the second and third rounds will air on ESPN3.

The Mercury own four selections and will make the final selection (No. 12) in the first round of Thursday's draft. The Mercury also will make the 18th overall pick (from Indiana as a result of the trade for Maggie Lucas on May 12, 2014), the 24th overall pick and the 36th overall pick. Phoenix Mercury General Manager Jim Pitman will oversee the draft from team headquarters at the US Airways Center.

This marks the first time in team history the Mercury owned the 12th overall selection in the draft and the first time they have had a first round pick since selecting Brittney Griner with the first overall pick in 2013. Last year, the Mercury had two second round picks and a third round pick. This is also the first time since 2012 that the team has four picks in the draft.
