McDonnell Podcast: Dodgers' Stan Kasten

Even though the Dodgers returned from the opening two games of the NLDS with the much-coveted split with the Atlanta Braves, Dodgers president and part-owner Stan Kasten was a happy man.

"You bet," he said in the Dodger dugout during Wednesday's workout in preparation for the NLCS. "I finally got a chance to sleep a night in my own house and my own bed."

A long-time Atlanta resident, Kasten now lives in the Los Angeles area nearly year-round as point man for Guggenheim Baseball Partners as they continue their top-to-bottom rebuilding of the Dodger organization.

Kasten joined FoxSportsWest.com for The Joe McDonnell Podcast (click here to listen) addressing the success of the Dodgers so far and their ability to take it into the future. He also went in-depth about the Dodgers keeping the promises they made to Dodger fans when they bought the team from Frank McCourt.
