McCoy hit with lawsuit after alleged party bus shenanigans
Does anything involving the words "party bus" ever end well? For Eagles RB LeSean McCoy, it seems it has ended with a lawsuit. TMZ is reporting that McCoy has been slapped with a lawsuit by a woman using the alias "Mary Roe," who alleges McCoy humiliated her on a party bus. How? She says he sprayed her with a beverage, then kicked her off the ride on the side of the Jersey Turnpike. The night apparently started when McCoy invited 15 women on the bus for a ride from Philadelphia to a night club in New York City. Roe claims that "Shady" started spraying the women with water and when she complained, he ordered a bodyguard going by the name "Big John" (awesome) to "get her." The suit alleges Big John hit Roe in the face and when she fell to the floor, Big John and McCoy (sounds like a TV cop drama) held her down and doused her with more liquid. After being kicked off the bus, she was apparently let back on and later was left at a rest stop. Roe says she suffered suffered "head trauma, a disc protrusion on her spine, bad sprains, contusions and bruises all over her body, and severe shock." She's now reportedly suing for $50,000. (Do you ever wonder how people arrive at the amount of lawsuits?) McCoy denies the allegations. "The allegations against LeSean McCoy are completely, unequivocally false. There are no criminal charges pending and no probable cause was ever found. This is sadly an attempt to extract money and LeSean will vigorously defend any attempt to collect money through a personal injury claim," McCoy's attorney Andrew M. Smith said in a statement to the Newark Star-Ledger. However, if this ends up being true, shame on you, Shady! Stop with the party bus nonsense. What are you, some kind of rich athlete with a need to show off his money? Oh, wait . . . maybe you are. Still, grow up.
