Mayfield: "I didn't need any extra problems"

Baker Mayfield is more than a year removed from playing at Texas Tech, but the subject came up today when the Oklahoma quarterback answered questions during a media session.

According to ESPN, Mayfield was asked about his exit from Tech.

Mayfield has led OU to an 11-1 record this season. The Sooners will take on Clemson in the Orange Bowl on Dec. 31.

Mayfield went on to say his decision to leave Tech, after he was benched about midway through his freshman season, wasn't taken very well by fans.

It appears Mayfield won't be re-visiting that establishment any more.
