Mavericks going old school as Run DMC
The Dallas Mavericks are kicking it "old school."
Not only have they brought back two pieces of their 2011 Championship team in Tyson Chandler and J.J. Barea...but star Dirk Nowitzki has decided to turn in his guitar and "We Are the Champions" rock roots for something a little more hip.
On Thursday night, the Mavericks debuted a new video at the American Airlines Center, introducing the crowd their new rap group that they hope will lead the team to the top of the Western Conference this season.
Dirk..Monta...Chandler...ladies and gentlemen, RUN DMC.
Like any great rap song, some smack talk has to laid down...and Chandler Parsons does not disappoint.
Don't think for one second that the Houston Rockets didn't hear the "left Houston so easily" line spit by CP.
