Mat Latos has elbow surgery, wife tweets photo of robo-arm

Reds starting pitcher Mat Latos had arthroscopic surgery on his right elbow to remove bone chips on Oct. 11, according to MLB.com's Mark Sheldon.

Latos began physical therapy the day after surgery and is expected to be ready in time for Spring Training.

Latos was scheduled to start for the Reds in the National League Wild Card Game against the Pirates, but after feeling elbow soreness earlier that week, Dusty Baker replaced him with Johnny Cueto. We all know how that turned out, so we'll turn to Latos' wife Dallas, for some comedic relief. She tweeted out a photo of Mat's new robo-arm:
