Miami Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton moved up to second among National League outfielders in the latest All-Star voting update released Monday night.

Stanton (1,259,047) trails only Los Angeles Dodgers right fielder Yasiel Puig (1,472,717). Milwaukee Brewers center fielder Carlos Gomez (1,192,174) has the final starting spot. Two weeks ago when the first results came through, Stanton was fourth. He is now fourth among all NL players.

The 24-year-old continues to lead the NL in RBI (53) and is tied for first in home runs (17) with Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki. He also ranks fourth with a .301 average.

No other Miami player is in the top five for his position, including Casey McGehee. He is first among NL third basemen with 38 RBI and second with a .300 average.

The 85th annual Midsummer Classic will be held on July 15 at Target Field, home of the Minnesota Twins.
