Laces Out is here to get you the highlights. Well, the fifth-year veteran is more than willing to compete for his starting gig, but said he isn’t “going to be a jerk” to incoming rookie QB Geno Smith. When asked if he expects to be the starter in 2013, Sanchez quipped “Sure, no doubt. Of course.” Jets center Nick Mangold was also interviewed and mentioned that he sees “something different in Mark Sanchez this year. Senses a more mature attitude.” Oh, and then the questions about his headband started pouring in. It even caused a little fun on Twitter.
