MINNEAPOLIS -- May is in the books as another Month of Maya.

The WNBA on Wednesday named Lynx forward Maya Moore the Western Conference player of the month for May after her dazzling start to the season. It's her third straight player of the month accolade after earning the honor in August and September of last season.

Moore began her fourth WNBA campaign with a league-record four straight 30-point games and leads the league in scoring at 27.6 points per game. She's also ninth in rebounding (8.9 per game), fourth in steals (2.43 per game) and second in minutes (36.3 per game).
