The Minnesota Lynx waived guard Nadirah McKenith on Friday, one day after adding three players.
McKenith, a 5-foot-7 guard, signed with Minnesota on June 24, 2014 and appeared in six games for the Lynx. averaging 0.7 points and 0.7 rebounds. McKenith was a second-round pick (No. 17 overall) of the Washington Mystic in 2013. She played in 32 games for Washington in 2013, averaging 2.8 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 8.8 minutes per game.
McKenith played at St. John's, where she averaged 10.3 points and 4.8 assists per game.

The Lynx traded for guard Anna Cruz from the New York Liberty and drafted forwards Reshanda Gray and Shae Kelley on Thursday.
