MINNEAPOLIS -- The Lynx's 2013 championship victory tour isn't over yet.

United States President Barack Obama will honor the defending WNBA champions at 12:50 p.m. Thursday at the White House. It'll be the team's second trip to the commander-in-chief's Washington D.C. estate after winning the 2011 crown as well.

A championship parade last fall and a ring and banner ceremony May 18 before its home opener also commemorated Minnesota's historical run.

Besting Atlanta in last year's WNBA Finals, the Lynx became the fifth team in league history to win two titles in a three-year span and the fourth to play in three straight championship series. Their perfect 7-0 postseason run was the WNBA's second ever and capped off the best three-year aggregate win total in league history with 99 victories.
