Lynx sign draft picks Liston, Bussie, Foggie
MINNEAPOLIS -- At least three draft picks will join the Minnesota Lynx when training camp begins Sunday.
A day after inking second-round pick Christina Foggie, the defending WNBA champions reached contractual agreements with first-round selection Tricia Liston and second-rounder Asya Bussie. The Lynx picked all three in last week's draft.
Liston, the 12th overall selection out of Duke, is a sharpshooting guard who went 48.3 percent from 3-point range during her senior season. Bussie, on the other hand, is a 6-4 center from West Virginia who specializes in interior defense and averaged two blocks per game last year.
Foggie, a Vanderbilt guard who also can shoot from distance, signed Monday. Bussie and Foggie were picked up 15th and 24th overall, respectively, a week ago.
Minnesota has yet to sign third-round pick Asia Taylor, but executive vice president Roger Griffith said all four will be at training camp.
