Lynx fend off Fever, 81-65

MINNEAPOLIS -- Sylvia Fowles had 18 points and 14 rebounds and Rebekkah Brunson added 14 points with 11 rebounds to help the Minnesota Lynx beat the Indiana Fever 81-65 on Friday night for their ninth straight victory in the series.

Maya Moore added 11 points for Minnesota (21-10), but left the game in the third quarter with a nose injury. Moore collided with Fowles' elbow at the 2:55 minute mark. She went back to the locker room with a towel over her nose and did not return.

Minnesota was also without Seimone Augustus with a sprained left foot and Lindsay Whalen with a sore Achilles tendon.

Marissa Coleman scored 16 points to lead Indiana (18-13), which hasn't won at Minnesota since June 26, 2011. Tamika Catchings added 10 points and nine rebounds.

Minnesota got 41 first-half points from its starters and held a nine-point lead at the break.
