FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Northern Arizona opens Big Sky Conference play by hosting No. 7 Montana at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Walkup Skydome.

The Lumberjacks are ranked No. 22 in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision coaches poll and No. 24 in The Sports Network media poll that were both released on Monday.

NAU looks to capture its second consecutive win over Montana after defeating the Grizzlies 41-31 on the road last year to snap a 14-game losing streak to the Griz.

The Lumberjacks (2-1) ride a two-game win streak into Saturday's game after earning wins over UC Davis and South Dakota. NAU is 1-0 at home after beating South Dakota 22-16 last weekend.

Montana is the lone undefeated team in the Big Sky with a 3-0 record, with wins over Appalachian State, North Dakota and Oklahoma Panhandle State.

Montana quarterback Jordan Johnson leads the nation in passing efficiency and has thrown for 664 yards with eight tuchdowns and no interceptions.

NAU senior running back Zach Bauman rushed for 151 yards last week and needs 46 more to reach 4,000 for his career. He's rushed for 528 yards in three career games against Montana -- including 253 yards and three touchdowns in last year's victory.

NAU head coach Jerome Souers moved into second place on the Big Sky all-time win list last week with his 86th career victory. Chris Ault of Nevada is the all-time leader with 111.

Saturday's Coors Light Fanfest will open at 2 p.m. and will run until the 6 p.m. kickoff. Fanfest will have entertainment for all ages including college football viewing on the video screen, the NAU bounce house, face painting and much more.
