Lopez rides 7 winners to tie Monmouth Park record

OCEANPORT, N.J. (AP) Jockey Paco Lopez rode seven winners at Monmouth Park on Saturday, tying the track record he set three weeks ago.
The 28-year-old Lopez, a native of Veracruz, Mexico, won the second, third, fourth, sixth, seventh, eighth and 11th races.
In the feature race, Sweet Emma Rose went wire-to-wire to win by a neck in the $60,000 Crank It Up Stakes. Ridden by Abel Lezcano and trained by Wesley Ward, the 3-year-old filly ran the 5 1/2 furlongs over a firm turf course in 1:03 flat and paid $13.80, $6.40 and $4.80.
Rogue Lady paid $16.20 and $7.80, while Red Minx was a head back in third and returned $4.

The win was the third in seven career starts for Sweet Emma Rose, who has now earned $139,197 overall
