Linsanity still alive in Taiwan, Philippines
Dwight Howard might not be the most popular guy in the Philippines, but Jeremy Lin has certainly been a fan favorite during the Rockets' week-long preseason road trip in Asia.
Lin, who is the first American-born player of Taiwanese descent in the NBA, hasn't disappointed either, most recently leading the Rockets over the Pacers with 17 points, going 3-for-4 at the 3-point line with four assists in a NBA showcase game played in the Taiwan capital of Taipei.
During the game, Lin really got the crowd going after a huge block against Pacers' Danny Granger and gave them another reason to be even louder after laying down a big dunk later in the game.
While Linsanity might have died down in the United States, it is clearly alive and well in the Philippines and Taiwan.
