Life in the bullpen with Maurer and Kelley on #SDLive
SAN DIEGO -- FOX Sports San Diego (FSSD) will debut a new episode of #SDLive tonight following live coverage of San Diego Padres at Pittsburgh Pirates, featuring Padres relief pitchers, Brandon Maurer and Shawn Kelley.
#SDLive host Mike Pomeranz chats with Maurer and Kelley about what life is like in the bullpen and the unique role they have entering the game. Kelley recalls his "best baseball moment" being a part of Derek Jeter's farewell and the two respond to the question, "If you were commissioner for the day, what would you do?"
In addition, Maurer and Kelley provide insight into their mental pre-game preparations and discuss the research they do on the strengths and weakness of the batters they pitch against.
This episode of #SDLive will debut tonight at 8:00 PM PST or immediately following live coverage of San Diego Padres at Pittsburgh Pirates beginning at 4:00 PM PST on FOX Sports San Diego.
