Life at Ten overpowers field in Delaware Handicap

Life at Ten won her sixth race in a row, setting a slow pace before pulling away to a 3-length victory in the Grade II Delaware Handicap on Saturday.

With jockey John Velasquez aboard, Life at Ten went straight to the lead from the outside post and then set liesurely fractions before pulling away. Miss Singhsix came on around the final turn to finish second, with Funny Moon third and Milwaukee Appeal in fourth.

Trained by Todd Pletcher, Life at Ten covered the 1 1/4 miles over a fast track in 2:03.21 and earned $450,000, raising her career earnings to $909,257. She paid $3.20, $2.40 and $2.10.

Miss Singhsix paid $3.20 and $2.40, while Funny Moon returned $2.20 to show.
