Lealiifano, Moore selected as co-captains for Brumbies

CANBERRA, Australia (AP) Wallabies Stephen Moore and Christian Lealiifano have been selected as co-captains of the ACT Brumbies for the 2016 Super Rugby season.

Moore, who led Australia to the World Cup final last year, is set to the Brumbies at the end of the 2016 season to return to the Queensland Reds and Leali'ifano is being groomed to take his place.

Lealiifano recently signed a flexible two-year deal which will allow him to play in Japan while staying with the Brumbies at least until 2018. He has played for the Brumbies since making his Super Rugby debut in 2008.
