LA Kings forward Tyler Toffoli named NHL's Second Star of Week
Kings forward Tyler Toffoli, who recorded his first-career hat trick as well as second-career four-point game, has been named the NHL's Second Star of the Week ending Feb. 15.
Chicago forward Marian Hossa and Nashville goalie Pekka Rinne were the other two stars.
Toffoli scored four goals (six points) to the help the Kings (25-18-12, 62 points through Monday) to three victories. The team also moved within three points of the Wild Card spot in the Western Conference Standings.
Toffoli, a native of Scarborough, Ont., has 18 goals on the season, with 36 points through 49 games.
The Kings host the Lightning tonight starting at 7 p.m. on FOX Sports West.
