LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Kings have activated forward Marco Sturm from the injured reserve list and he is expected to play in Wednesday's Kings-Ducks game at Honda Center, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced Wednesday.

Sturm, 32, has played in 15 games with the Kings this season, his first with the club, after being acquired from Boston on December 11 for future considerations. He has eight points (4-4=8), a plus-five rating and 17 penalty minutes this year (he did not play in any games this season for the Bruins).

Sturm has missed the Kings' last 13 games after being placed on the injured reserve list on January 20 (retroactive to January 18) due to a lower body injury.

The Kings' 10th and final consecutive game away from STAPLES Center takes place tonight in Anaheim at 7 p.m. (FS West, KTLK 1150 and along the Kings Radio Network).

The Kings open a six-game homestand beginning tomorrow against the Wild at 7:30 p.m. The homestand concludes on March 7 against Dallas. All six games will be broadcast on FS West, KTLK AM 1150 and along the Kings Radio Network.
