Kevin Love undergoes surgery, will miss four to six months
The Cleveland Cavaliers announced on Wednesday night that forward Kevin Love has undergone surgery to repair his dislocated shoulder.
According to the team release, the surgery was performed at The Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City and was performed by Dr. David W. Altchek.
Love will receive continuing treatment and rehabilitation at the Cleveland Clinic Courts and Cleveland Clinic Sports Health under team doctors and trainers.
The release also said that the projected recovery time for Kevin Love is four to six months, which should end any speculation about his return for any portion of the playoffs.
Kevin was injured in the final game of the first round series against the Boston Celtics when forward Kelly Olynyk and Love were tangled going for a rebound.
