Kevin Love won't wait until the next Olympics to represent the United States again.

The Timberwolves forward plans to join Team USA for the 2014 FIBA World Cup in Spain. Love and 2012 Olympics teammate Kevin Durant announced their decision together Wednesday during USA Basketball's training camp in Las Vegas.

They're the first two commitments to play in the event formerly known as the FIBA World Championships. Both won gold with Team USA at the tournament's 2010 rendition (Durant claimed MVP honors) and last summer at the London Olympics.

At the latter, Love came off the bench to average 11.6 points and a team-high 7.6 rebounds per game.
